LockPath, a leading provider of compliance and risk management software, has announced a partnership with RiskRecon, which will enable joint customers to obtain a verifiable assessment of each third-party’s security practices. Joint customers will be able to establish a base level of trust, while also identifying specific areas for further discussion and assessment.
“With increased pressure for companies to formalize and expand their third-party due diligence practices, this partnership with RiskRecon helps relieve that pressure by giving our customers the tools to identify and proactively mitigate any potential risk or compliance issues,” said Chris Caldwell, LockPath CEO and founder. “Our partnership with RiskRecon will give our customers increased visibility into third-party security postures and significantly increase program efficiency through better prioritization of third parties for assessment and remediation.”
Through this partnership, customers will be able to add to their third-party due diligence processes by supplementing internally-produced data in LockPath’s Keylight Platform with objective data from RiskRecon. The integration will streamline the third-party risk assessment process by issuing the right type of risk assessments at a frequency reflective of the third party’s risk level.
Additionally, LockPath’s partnership with RiskRecon will help customers create a complete picture of the risks that third parties can introduce to businesses. This will allow businesses to make more informed decisions about third-party relationships.
“We’re pleased to be partnering with LockPath to help our joint customers improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their third-party risk programs,” said Eric Blatte, RiskRecon President and Co-founder. “LockPath enables our customers to integrate our findings with other relevant third-party risk information, so that they can manage their entire program in one place.”
