Note from the editor

Agile and DevOps have become integral to modern development culture in IT departments.

But what do these terms look like in action? And how can IT leadership implement the varied strategies in a modern, efficient way?

An Agile method of product development means embracing the failures to learn and pivot, while celebrating small victories along the way. And today's DevOps often includes security — known as DevSecOps — and relies on strong cross-team communication.

Collaboration and communication are still the basics to success. Read on to learn what's changed about the methodologies and how workers expect CIOs to lead them through the process.
