Runecast Solutions Ltd., maker of the Runecast platform for enterprise IT SecOps management, announces the addition of a veteran channel professional to a new milestone role within the organisation.
“As the market demand for our Runecast platform increases, we continue to look for ways to scale and deliver the value of Runecast globally,” said Runecast Chief Revenue Officer Ched Smokovic. “In this case, it means scaling up our channel capabilities with proven strategic leadership.”
Runecast is an enterprise platform that uses Runecast AI Knowledge Automation (RAIKA) and a patented rules engine for proactively monitoring and analysing on-premises, hybrid and multi cloud IT environments. This way, it discovers and predicts problems before they can occur (hence the word play on the ancient art of casting runes). Recent customer reviews have ranked Runecast as a ‘High Performer’ in the Spring and Summer 2022 G2 Grid® Reports – for the categories of Security Risk Analysis, Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), Vulnerability Scanner, Cloud Compliance and Cloud Security.
“Covering the Big Three in the cloud services market with insights for AWS, Azure and GCP, plus a sweet spot with hybrid cloud environments running VMware, we needed to look at how best to reach market demand by strengthening and expanding our channel business,” said Mr. Smokovic. “Runecast has had as much as triple-digit growth in some regions, and these additions to our team’s technical expertise and channel leadership enable us to support that growth globally.”
Ramping up our leadership team
For the Global Enablement Manager role, Runecast has brought aboard Michiel de Lepper, a veteran in the IT Security industry for over 12 years with positions in Sales, Channel and in Technical roles at McAfee, Intel and others. Mr. de Lepper will report to Mr. Smokovic and be responsible for enabling the success of Runecast Channel sales and technical reps, as well as optimising programs and processes in three key areas:
- Optimising our entire channel program
- Enhancing sales and technical enablement for partners
- Revamping and expanding available content for partners
“The major benefit that Runecast brings to CISOs, CIOs, and their teams is having single-platform visibility of complex IT environments to ensure security compliance and operational stability,” said Mr. de Lepper. “As SecOps needs evolve so quickly, we need to help our channel partners keep their customers ahead of vulnerabilities, skills shortages, compliance audits and other operational pain points. Runecast is ideally placed to start building mutually rewarding partnerships with our Channel and, in extension, our customers.”
Customers of Runecast benefit from automated audits and reporting for vendor best practices and security compliance benchmarks from BSI IT-Grundschutz, CIS, Cyber Essentials, DISA-STIG, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and others. The platform provides single-platform insights for AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, VMware, Windows and Linux – as well as for SAP HANA and Pure Storage on VMware, vSphere on Nutanix, and VMware Cloud on AWS. Complex hybrid environments can be scanned with a click, displaying a report of critical issues for SecOps to remediate within minutes.
CISOs, CIOs, Security and Operations teams can contact Runecast for a vulnerability assessment.
