Big Blue Innovations (BBi) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) are excited to announce their new strategic partnership to broaden access to construction technology education and resources.
The construction industry continues to experience a growing interest in technology adoption, influenced by factors such as labor constraints, project complexity, supply chain challenges and operational efficiency needs. In this environment, many firms are allocating more time and investment in technology solutions. However, finding objective, creditable, industry-specific references and guidance can be challenging. BBi and CFMA have committed to tackling this problem together for the benefit of CFMA members, BBi clients, and the broader industry.
Big Blue Innovations has been providing resources and advice to the CFMA community for several years and has seen great value and alignment with the association’s service to the construction industry, according to Jay Snyder, President of Big Blue Innovations. “This is a rare opportunity to combine the unique expertise of two highly regarded and trusted organizations, expanding and elevating technology education and research at a critical point for construction companies. The partnership brings together robust resources and provides enhanced access to information that would otherwise be extremely difficult to deliver.”
For the past three years, BBi has hosted ERP roundtables designed to support more informed technology discussions. BBi and CFMA’s partnership will build on the success of this program by co-hosting Software Roundtables, offering construction professionals an ongoing opportunity to explore software solutions designed for the industry. These sessions provide a space for design and construction professionals to engage directly with software vendors in a non-sales setting, with questions and demonstration topics shaped by attendee input. The roundtables feature a specific software product, beginning with a brief company overview and a demonstration focused on functionality identified as important by participants. The goal is to support peer-to-peer learning and provide a structured forum for technology dialogue.
“CFMA is committed to equipping construction financial professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to lead in an increasingly complex and technology-driven industry,” said Neil Shah, President & CEO of CFMA. “Through our partnership with Big Blue Innovations, we are creating spaces for objective, peer-driven conversations around construction technology to help CFMA members — and the broader industry — make more informed decisions that drive smarter, more efficient outcomes.”
The Software Roundtables are held virtually every two to three weeks. Construction professionals, financial managers, and technology stakeholders are invited to attend. To learn more or to register for upcoming sessions, visit: https://cfma.org/software_roundtables.
Additional joint initiatives from CFMA and BBi’s partnership will be announced and rolled out over the coming months.
