Berlin, 1 June 2026 - Wunderflats, the European platform for long-term flexible housing, has appointed Kevin Jolly as Chief Data & AI Officer, effective 1 June 2026. The newly created executive role reflects the company's commitment to embedding AI across the entire organisation, with the goal of making the platform faster, simpler and more reliable for both tenants and landlords.
Jolly is no stranger to Wunderflats. From 2019 to 2021, he built the company's first data function, laying the foundation for its current data infrastructure. He went on to scale a global data organisation as VP Data & Analytics at Dott, before leading the central data platform and company-wide AI transformation at Contentsquare in London. He joins the Wunderflats executive team alongside Jan Hase (CEO and Co-Founder), Arkadi Jampolski (Managing Director and Co-Founder), Emmi Meurling (CPO) and Ravind Sandhu (CMO).
AI-Driven Efficiency and Scale
The impact of AI at Wunderflats is measurable. The company handles around 18,000 support requests from tenants and landlords each month. AI now resolves 30 percent of support tickets without any human involvement, achieved within just a few weeks of implementation. Response times have dropped by 30 to 50 percent, with answer quality frequently exceeding that of manual handling. This frees the team to focus on cases that require genuine expertise.
Beyond support, AI has already reduced software costs by 400,000 EUR, with two analytics tools decommissioned. Teams across the business get answers to data questions faster, enabling quicker decisions. A further focus is landlord onboarding: by automating key steps in the acquisition and activation process, Wunderflats aims to shorten the time from sign-up to first active listing, bringing more supply online faster.
AI as Foundation, Not Add-on
Wunderflats is not adding AI features on top of existing structures. The company is reorganising around AI entirely. Jolly's mandate covers three areas: building AI-ready data infrastructure and governance, connecting currently siloed processes, and rolling out a company-wide programme to bring teams at every level of AI literacy along for the journey.
Jan Hase, CEO of Wunderflats: “AI already touches every part of this business: support, data, product. Now it's about scaling that and advancing our mission: enabling people to live and work wherever they choose. That's why we created this role, and why we're glad to have Kevin back.”
Kevin Jolly, Chief Data & AI Officer: "Wunderflats has already proven that AI delivers real results across the value chain. My job now is to make that the foundation of the entire organisation: building the right structures, enabling teams and accelerating decisions. This is how we will scale.”
