Executives attend the yearly circuit of IT conferences in search of updates on the latest enterprise technology trends. Next year's crop of panels, sessions and symposiums is sure to deliver a heavy dose of AI.
The technology ruled discussion topics in the boardroom this year, leaving leaders to grapple with how to steer ambitious adoption efforts. As they confer with industry peers across banquet halls and auditoriums, AI will most likely remain top of mind in 2026.
But AI is not the only topic garnering CIO attention as next year approaches. Cloud cost management, overdue modernization plans and tech talent attraction are also pressing matters for IT chiefs — and a likely topic of water cooler discussion during industry events.
