- Microsoft is releseasing the fourth update for Windows 10, the Fall Creators Update, Tuesday catering to users' creativity. The update will include Fluent Design in apps and general layout, OneDrive Files on Demand and the Continue on PC feature, reports ZDNet. Edge will also upgrade with new features that manage saved Favorites.
- The Continue on PC feature allows users to bundle Edge apps for iOS and Android to streamline collaboration on websites, apps, pictures and other data on mobile devices to a Windows 10 PC. Cortana will have more accessibility in Settings and her answers will appear in a "slide-out window" from the Start menu.
- The updates were already previewed by Windows Insiders, but the Timeline feature has reportedly been delayed to the Redstone 4 release, according to ZDNet.

Since 2015, critics have claimed the updates have been too aggressive and negatively impact consumers. Although the company has repeatedly made promises to slow its roll for Windows 10 updates, the Fall Creators Update is long awaited.
However, the Windows updates coincide with increasing demand for streamlined workloads as well as heightened security features following this years' line of cyberattacks, one of which can be traced to utilizing outdated Windows 7 devices.
At Ignite, Microsoft pushed cloud, hybrid cloud and onsite offerings to provide for its wide range of consumers. The software company continues to push its cloud-based products as they are now assisted by AI and ML.
Hybrid cloud developments continue to ease migration but still released an Office 2019 software designed for those still reliant on their current technical infrastructure. Still, Microsoft expects two-thirds of its Office users to move to cloud-based Office 365 by FY 2019.
