Dive Insight:
Combining key services could help attract companies looking to make digital transformation less complex.
The new alliance allows enterprises to combine Google’s cloud infrastructure and Okta’s identity and access management services to more easily move from legacy infrastructures to the cloud as well as deploy and manage Google Apps and other SaaS applications, according to the announcement.
"Okta’s alliance with Google will make it easy for enterprise customers to securely bring on Google Apps so business can spend their time innovating instead of securing complex deployments," said Todd McKinnon, CEO of Okta.
